HFCS products. This is disturbing...

I found this list generated on the world wide web.:http://www.accidentalhedonist.com/ they were looking for a comprehensive list of foods that contain the dreaded High Fructose Corn Syrup. They did not find one, so they made their own.

Having had Cancer I am acutely aware of carcinogens and possible carcinogens. HFCS in my opinion is NOT NATURAL therefore it is a CARCINOGEN and a possible cause for cancer among other health related problems like obesity. But of course the FDA doesn't see it this way. They are making money as is the cancer industry. I would love to put them both out of business but we need to start small...

The list as you can see is ENORMOUS and high fructose corn syrup is in virtually everything. I would love to go on a HFCS diet. I would love to avoid any food or drink that contains the stuff however I don't know what I will end up eating. I will have to plot this out very carefully.

Certainly I can afford to lose the weight...cutting most of these foods out will allow that to happen. Certainly I will blog about it. Maybe even get a book out of it.

I understand it's called Immersion Journalism. It will certainly give me something to do.

As far as I am concerned anything man-made is un-natural and is going to kill us. Chemicals be them cleaning agents, flavorings for foods, componants in the computer I am using right now...are going to kill us.

Lets boycott HFCS and send a message to everyone putting this crap in our foods. DON'T BUY ANYTHING with High Fructose Corn Syrup in it.

As my wife often says "You are in control of your own well being." if you choose to smoke or drink in excess or eat too much and not exercise and/or get regular check ups with a physician it is your own fault.

I am trying to make better choices and stay as healthy for as long as possible.
