Just beyond bummed...

A good friend of ours died on Friday. Totally unexpected (and not related to cancer)...heart attack. His 40th birthday is tomorrow Jan 26th.

I am beside myself and shocked and I still can't accept the idea of not ever seeing him again. He left behind a wife and three kids (ages 14, 12 and 8)...things like this are just not fair.

When I got the news all I could think of were his kids.

What a way to start the year.
